Queensland chapter

+ Our beliefs

A distinct Hong Kong identity has been born out of a shared culture, experiences and values based on civil liberties and direct democracy. The CCP has declared war on the people of Hong Kong, if it is war that they want, then we shall give it to them. Fighting alongside our oppressed brothers and sisters all over the world, HKPACE Queensland shall open a door to a new world where liberty and dignity are our birthrights and not luxuries that we need to afford.

+ Personal Beliefs

1) The recent mass prosecution of 50+ pro-democracy politicians in Hong Kong clearly shows that the CCP is trying to provoke fear in its dissidents. Yet, if we are not afraid of the suppression, the CCP indeed has no control over us at all, making our movement unstoppable and limitless.

2) Hong Kong means more than my home. It is a place where the global battlefront of our fight for justice, democracy and human rights takes place, hence every community upholding the aforementioned values should join hands with us – this battle is too important to lose, we need every freedom fighter to go all in.

“This is a trade off between losing safety and losing human dignity. I have made my choice, so have many Hongkongers.”  – Bonnie Wong

Bonnie as a shared concept –
Rather than an actual individual, Bonnie Wong is more like a shared concept for Hongkongers who are in exile, striving for reclaiming our home, protecting our people despite enormous fear of the guaranteed suppression from the CCP, no matter where we are at.
